Breeder Comments:

Significantly fewer cases of milk fever and retained placenta. The cows go in heat 15 days after calving. It is clear to see when the cow is in heat, far fewer cases of metritis. Good general condition, very beautiful coat, very good rumination. Of the 10 recently inseminated cows, 9 are in calf. H-H-M and FSA are particularly good technicians and animal feed experts who are always ready for the cattle farmers. They have a good understanding of dairy farming and give excellent advice. We have been working together with H-H-M and FSA for a number of years and we’re very impressed by their professionalism.
We certainly recommend that cattle farms take advantage of their services

Breeder Comments:

Gaec de KERLASCOZ (Mr L’HOSTIS)That is more than 4 years that we work with nutritionists Company FeedingSpecificAnimal FSA and HHM.
The goal is to optimize our rations to produce maximum milk per cow.
A big concern for health has prevented us from achieving these goals, for now.
As against the level of knowledge and nutritionists FSA/HHM, in rations allowed us despite the problems to maintain our herd in good shape, with a proper amount of milk despite a high average month.
Reproduction is maintained at a good level.
Milk quality is also very good.
We also followed their recommendations for breeding heifers and the results are there.
We reduced the age at calving and young first-calf cow are waiting to happen without much concern for reproduction.
Today we work with agronomists and HHM FSA for the establishment of new crops to optimize our diet.
We are very satisfied with the work with the company and FSA/HHM and we recommend their work to farmers.

Breeder Comments:

GAEC des FontainesWe began our collaboration in 2008.
From the first few months, the results were remarkable. In 2011 we stopped our collaboration with H-H-M and FSA due to falling milk prices.
In 2012 we again called on the livestock feed experts from H-H-M and FSA, because our results deteriorated significantly and our cows were not in good condition. Now, the results speak for themselves. When necessary, the feed experts adjust the rations very quickly. Their international knowledge of dairy cattle farming is a great help. In this way, we produce more milk with fewer cows. The feed experts respond immediately, are motivated and are always ready to optimise the rations. They also have extensive knowledge about cattle farming in general.

With advice and knowledge of Feeding nutritionists, we have determined a ration of lupine, pea and faba bean we have grown on the farm, in order to limit costs.

Farm ThizyThree quarters of the herd are Red Holstein.
We contacted the FeedingSpecificAnimal nutritional company 1 year ago.
After having provided all the documents they needed, we put in place the rations they advised us.
The results were very quick and very significant.
We found that the heats were more obvious, as well as happening earlier.
The body condition of animals is significantly improved by a better balanced ration, as well as  the general appearance: hair, lameness etc.
Cows start their lactation much better.
To date, we have obtained more milk with fewer cows on this farm.
The nutritionists are very reactive and motivated, they are at your disposal to optimize the operation and possess a very strong knowledge of cattle breeding and milking.
